Step 1: Install a Registry explorer on your WP7 device
Step 2: Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\MobileOperator
Step 3: Change the mobile operator from ATT-US
to 000-88 or leave it blank.
Step 4: Connect the device to your computer, run Zune and let
it work its magic
Step 5: You may want to restore the original values to the
registry when the updates are complete.
NB: Your WP7 device needs to be dev and interop
unlocked.
